New Year at Åkerblads

Celebrate New Year at Åkerblads!

Celebrate new year with us for 3 or 2 days. If you choose to visit us for 3 days 30/12-2/1. Or 2 days 30/12-1/1.

Our 3 days New Year’s package includes 1 day with full board and 2 days with half board. Our breakfast buffet is served with homemade bread, cold smoked salmon, eggs, bacon and much more. We keep the mulled wine pot warm throughout the weekend for you.

30 December:

Tonight, we welcome you all with drink, before you sit down and enjoy a 4-course dinner between 6 and 9 PM.

New Year’s Eve:

Fancy a morning walk? You are warmly welcome to join us on a cultural walk in Tällberg village at 10 AM.  A lovely New Year’s Eve lunch will be served 12.30-2 PM. Before you sit down to the evening’s 5-course New Year’s dinner, which is served from 6.30 PM, we wish to invite you to a glass of sherry. During the evening we will dance around the Christmas tree and later at 10 PM enjoy an orchestra beautifully playing music at our New Year’s ball (dress code: dark suit or tuxedo). A moment before midnight, a glass of sparkling wine and selected canapé is served. While we toast the New Year, we can enjoy beautiful silent fireworks outside before the festivities continue.

New Year’s Day:

Today, breakfast is served until 11 AM. If you wish, you are welcome to order lunch or Åkerblads Smörgåsbord, served at 12.30-14 PM (not included in package).  Sleigh rides can be arranged upon request and additional cost if the weather permits. We recommend to book this in advance. A delicious 4-course dinner is served 6.30-9 PM, followed by entertainment from Leksand’s folk dance team.

2 January:

You are most welcome to extend your stay if you wish and stay another day. If you leave us today, we wish you ahappy new year and a warm welcome back!
