Celebrate Christmas at Åkerblads!

Celebrate Christmas with us for 4 or 3 days. If you choose to visit us for 4 days 23-27/12, 2 days with full board and 2 days with half board are included. If you visit us for 3 days 23-26/12, 2 days full board and 1 day half board are included. Throughout the Christmas holidays you will be greeted every morning between 8 and 10 AM by our breakfast buffet with freshly brewed coffee, Santa’s porridge, homemade bread, smoothies, cold smoked salmon, eggs, bacon and much more.

23 December:

A 4-course menu will be served 6-9 PM. Before dinner, we welcome you for a drink.

Christmas Eve:

Today, Santa might come to visit! Welcome to leave a gift for your loved one at our reception. For lunch, our Christmas table is laid out, 12.30-2 PM, after which coffee and a large candy table are served. Tällberg’s priest Sten Boman comes to read the Christmas gospel, after which we invite to dance around the Christmas tree waiting for Santa to arrive. 6-9 PM, Christmas Eve dinner is served with dried whitefish, Christmas ham, porridge and cheese tray.

Christmas Day:

Early in the morning there will be saffron cakes and coffee if you want to join for mass (julotta) in Leksand church, starting at 06 AM. price 345:-/person. Please pre-register before arrival.  After breakfast, at 10.30, you are welcome to join a cultural walk in Tällberg village. At 12.30-2 PM a Christmas lunch is served. Your 4-course dinner is served 6-9 PM, followed by entertainment from Leksand’s folk dance team.

Boxing Day:

Today lunch is not included in the Christmas package, but we can offer our herring and salmon buffet at 12.30-2 PM.  If the weather permits, a traditional sleigh ride can be arranged at additional cost. Please book in advance. Your 4-course dinner is served 6-9 PM, followed by atmospheric Christmas music.
